		<description>I think Mclaren did this to distance himself from the previous regime.... Beckham is certainly better than Jenas and Phil Neville, but with becks, comes the media circus which Mclaren would like to avoid, at least at this rebuilding stage. Nothing is ever quiet with the golden boy(?) around. And you cant bench him, sponsors and media outlets would go all out to see that their favorite billboard gets the attention he deserves.  So dropping him was the only Go!
