Yes, more competition would be good but I don't think the tennis gets boring and hence, seeing him win doesn't either. And I don't see Canas beating him at Wimbledon

@ Guhan: Yes, new French Open Champion indeed - Federer (I hope)! And yes, the losses don't look good but I don't think it's a cause for worry yet.</description>

i agree that federer is a great player and much better than most contemporaries, but his level of domination is such that it's boring! 

i hope to see him win the French though (and break the Nadal monotony). but i hope he draws canas in an early round in Wimbledon and crashes out - wimbledon will become much more exciting then.</description>
